Tonesmith’s Shipping Policy
- Fedex Ground shipping on amp and cab orders over $500 is free of charge to customers within the continental U.S. (excludes Alaska)
- Express shipping options are available (buyer pays difference)
Additional International Shipping Policies
- Shipping to customers outside of the continental U.S. will be paid in full by the customer (some exceptions may apply).
- Tonesmiths will not be responsible for or pay any customs or duty fees. The customer will be responsible for any customs or duty fees.
- We do not ship all products internationally. Most manufacturers only allow us to ship within the United States.
Express Shipping
- For expedited shipping (fast shipment) please select an option (Ups Next Day, Second Day, etc...) on checkout. Shipping charges will be added.
- Orders placed after 12:00pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed the following business day.

Tonesmith’s Return Policy
- Custom orders including but not limited to custom guitars, custom amplifiers, hand painted pedals, etc. are not returnable.
- Packages without RA #'s will be refused. Your return authorization number must be written on the outside of the return package for proper processing and credit. Do not ship in original product container (manufacturer's original packaging) and all Returns should be accompanied with the Return Document.
- Most Non-Sale Store products may be returned within 30 days of your product's shipping date less our cost of shipping.
- Items returned in obvious used condition with scratches will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- Sale or Clearance products may be returned only when defective and within 14 days of your product's shipping date.
- Items must be in original packaging, in as-new condition with the original tags, receipt, all warranty cards, manuals and accessories.
- After 30 days (14 days for sale products), please contact the manufacturer directly concerning warranty items. If you need help contacting or dealing with a manufacturer, contact us and we will act as mediator, but will not be responsible to accept or warranty any items.
- If you request a replacement, we will ship your replacement after we receive and process your returned product. If you need a replacement right away, we suggest you request a credit rather than a replacement. Then place a new order. The new order will be shipped as soon as we have product available and your credit will be applied approximately 10-15 days after we receive the product you are returning.
- If you refuse shipment for any item, you will receive a credit less our cost of shipping for the item.
- Returns may be sent by US Regular Mail or UPS surface shipping, which ever is more convenient for you. Returns/Exchanges must be sent FREIGHT PREPAID! Sorry, we do not accept COD's, we do not send call tags and we do not accept 3rd party or recipient billing. We will refuse all packages sent under these conditions. If it is our error that is the cause for your return, we will reimburse your shipping costs. (This is actual freight and will not include any packaging, preparing, or mailroom costs.) We will not reimburse for Overnight, 2nd Day or Air Shipping.
- Please allow approximately 10 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived. Please allow 2 billing cycles for refunds to appear on your credit card statement. If your exchange is not the result of an error on our part, our normal shipping rates apply.
- If you receive a damaged or incomplete shipment, contact the Shipping Agency (Le. UPS, Airborne Express, etc.) immediately to file a claim. To file a claim, a representative of the agency must inspect the package in its original condition. If any further assistance is needed, please contact us.
Damaged Products
- If you receive a product that has been damaged in shipping, your claim needs to be handled through the shipping company.
